Job Description:

Salary: $20.00 to $32.50 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Etobicoke, ON
Shifts: Day, Overtime

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Equipment and machinery experience: Industrial lift trucks and fork-lifts
Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification and Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB) clearance Certificate

Physical Requirements:

The candidates will get attention to detail and handling heavy loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

The candidates should be accurate, dependable, and efficient in interpersonal skills
The candidates should be excellent in written communication, flexible, and able to take initiative
The candidates should be organized, reliable, and a team player

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to determine the method of shipment, schedule the distribution of goods, and schedule transportation conveyances
The candidates should be able to prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documents, assemble containers and crates, and inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices or other documents
The candidates should be able to maintain the internal record-keeping system, route goods to appropriate storage areas, and pack goods to be shipped
The candidates should be able to unpack goods received, oversee the loading and unloading of goods, and supervise material handlers and helpers
