Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should hold a secondary school diploma (DES)
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be available to work either 40 hours over 5 days or 12 hours over 3 days, with the flexibility to work overtime
  • The candidates should demonstrate flexibility to adjust schedules for meetings, support colleagues on other shifts, and replace absent employees
  • The candidates should be able to work indoors in areas with wet floors and on multiple levels and adhere to all safety regulations, wearing all protective equipment and setting an example of safety compliance
  • The candidates should allocate approximately 80% of their time to floor tasks and 20% to administrative duties as team leaders
  • The candidates should possess good physical fitness, capable of standing and walking for extended periods and lifting loads in compliance with factory safety standards

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a strong interest in continuous improvement and a desire to learn and apply the KHMS management system
  • The candidates should have training in a related field or relevant manufacturing experience and communicate effectively orally or in writing, using tools like Word and Outlook
  • The candidates should have the ability to use various factory IT tools, such as SAP, IQS, OEE Console and an interest in developing intermediate skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • The candidates should understand the importance of standards, work instructions, OPL (One Point Lesson), NIL, and be able to create and communicate these documents to teams
  • The candidates should demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills and possess good listening skills, effectively implementing ideas and resolving identified defects based on employee and leadership feedback
  • The candidates should have knowledge of and comply with factory safety rules and provide feedback to the team regarding safety protocols pre-op SST, execution of QRP

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to support improvement plans to reduce losses and shutdowns in their sector, including monitoring actions and conducting analyses
  • The candidates should be able to analyze losses from the last quarter overfilling, OEE, stops, rejections and prioritize actions for resolution
  • The candidates should be able to participate in internal or external audits regarding safety, quality, or KHMS and spend time on the floor collecting information on losses and downtime, discussing actions with operators, taking charge of actions, making recommendations, or escalating issues
  • The candidates should be able to implement the 5W1H and 5-Why methodologies within their sector by engaging various stakeholders
  • The candidates should be able to host L1 meetings with operators and attend or lead L2, DDS, or weekly meetings as applicable
  • The candidates should be able to conduct floor tours at designated intervals to coach teams on standard compliance and address deviations and replace operator breaks as needed, particularly during staff shortages or urgent situations
  • The candidates should be able to manage overtime allocation fairly according to policy and complete the necessary documentation to ensure process integrity
  • The candidates should be able to complete escalation calls within prescribed time frames and ensure employee pay processes are applied correctly
  • The candidates should be able to submit internal requests for agency employees, welcome them into the department, ensure compliance with factory rules, and assign an adequate workload
