Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education: Candidates should have hold a 2nd Class Refrigeration Plant Operator
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess an Interprovincial Industrial Electrician license, preferably at Journeyman status. Alternative licenses may be considered based on experience
- The candidates should Holding a 3rd Class Power Engineer license
- The candidate should be able to overall support the production lines to optimize uptime
- The candidate should be able to respond to equipment breakdowns and troubleshoot faults effectively
- The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment
- The candidate should have thorough knowledge of instrumentation and control systems
- The candidate should have experience working with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) and VFDs (Variable Frequency Drives)
- The candidate should be capable of operating and maintaining systems such as Ammonia Refrigeration System, Boiler, Air Compressors, HVAC Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning
- The candidate should be able to support other maintenance staff or trades
- The candidate should be able to complete planned maintenance during production downtime
- The candidate should be proficient in using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) for completing assigned as well as unplanned work
- The candidate should be capable of working in a fast-paced, team-oriented processing and manufacturing environment, including working rotating shifts with occasional overtime, weekend work, and on-call duties
