Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should possess an Industrial Mechanic Journeyman ticket, but other Journeyman tickets will be considered based on past experience and ability
- The candidates should be considered at the Apprentice level for Industrial Mechanics
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to maintain mechanical equipment within their areas of expertise
- The candidates should be able to perform preventive maintenance checks as required by the preventive maintenance schedule
- The candidates should be able to perform predictive maintenance as required by the predictive maintenance schedule
- The candidates should be able to participate in any required safety or job-specific training and take turns on the on-call rotation
- The candidates should be able to record labor and materials used on work orders completed
- The candidates should be able to maintain their working area in a safe, tidy condition and provide on-the-job training for apprentice workers
