Job Description:

Shift: 10 hour days, working holidays, weekends and evenings
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates should have completion of Certified Journeyman Millwright, with an inter provincial ticket
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience of 2 to 4 years experience in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared to work 10-hour days on set days of the week and Working holidays, weekends, and evenings
- The candidates should be scheduled to work full-time, a minimum of 80 hours per 2-week pay period during busy time
- The candidates should be physically capable of operating and maintaining equipment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should hold a current, valid driver’s license and First aid experience
- The candidates should be proficient with MS Office and other basic computer systems and applications
- The candidates should own all the required tools to perform the job adequately and demonstrate proficient ski or snowboard capabilities
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or hydraulic problems with associated equipment
- The candidates should be able to identify and correct problems found in machines, equipment, or processes to facilitate production
- The candidates should be able to adhere to assembly and maintenance instructions set forth in vendor manuals and specifications
- The candidates should be able to actively participate in preventative and required maintenance of all lifts and lift maintenance equipment
- The candidates should be able to maintain records of work and report on all lift maintenance-related activities
- The candidates should be able to assist with training Lift Operators to safely operate lifts and perform routine checks and operate company equipment safely and effectively in accordance with company policies and assist other departments with general maintenance
- The candidates should be able to ensure ongoing compliance with local and national standards and legislation, including the Z-98 code and Manufacturer’s specifications and adhere to all environmental policies and programs
- The candidates should be able to keep their work area safe and clean and report any damage, malfunction, misuse, or abuse of equipment or property
- The candidates should be able to ensure the safety of guests and employees through proper training and adherence to company policies and procedures
- The candidates should be able to comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program and assist with vehicle maintenance
