Salary: $36.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 46 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Shifts: Overtime, On Call
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 3 to less than 5 years
Credentials: Gas Fitter Trade Certification and Gas Fitter Certificate – Level 2 or B
Security and safety: Basic security clearance, Driver’s validity licence check, and Criminal record check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage physically demanding tasks while being attentive to detail
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be accurate in their work, pay attention to detail, and demonstrate dependability in their role while maintaining a strong client focus
- The candidates should possess excellent oral and written communication skills, exhibit good judgment in decision-making, and be a team player
- The candidates should maintain a positive attitude
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to service gas heating units and their components as well as repair and service gas appliances and related equipment
- The candidates should also be able to supervise other workers
