Salary: $35.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 years to less than 3 years

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to attend to gas escape calls, responding promptly to ensure safety, install gas heating units and their components following correct procedures, and service gas heating units for optimal functionality
• The candidates should be able to install and maintain meters, regulators, and gas lines between the gas unit and meter, prepare tenders and quotations accurately for project planning, and repair and service gas appliances for efficient operation
• The candidates should be able to advise clients regarding standards, safety features, and maintenance of gas units, study drawings and specifications to determine the layout and materials required, and estimate costs accurately for effective project budgeting
• The candidates should be able to test and replace defective equipment or components to maintain safe and effective gas systems
