Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of a bachelor’s degree
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 1 year of experience in procurement

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should have the ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and environments
  • The candidates should have the ability to adapt rapidly to changing circumstances and environments

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have project management skills, strategic sourcing skills and experience in contract negotiation
  • The candidates should have experience in contract drafting and experience leading end to end RFX processes
  • The candidates should have interpersonal and creativity skills with a high degree of diplomacy in providing advice and guidance to senior management, as well as being effective in addressing or resolving vendor and client complaints and queries
  • The candidates should have the ability to identify, manage and mitigate risks and disputes that could result in legal action or have the potential to create the perception of distrust in the procurement process
  • The candidates should have advanced demonstrable time management and organizational skills
  • The candidates should have the ability to manage and coordinate meetings with both stakeholders and the vendor industry (in-person and virtually) and excellent skills with the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel
  • The candidates should have completed or partially completed certification or training such as PMAC, PSPP, SCMA, and PMP
  • The candidates should have experience in public procurement, experience in data analytics, experience in market sounding, experience with SAP (procurement modules) and SAP Ariba

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to manage the total procurement process as it relates to Procurement and Contract Management activities of a lower risk and complexity nature
  • The candidates should be able to provide advice and consultation regarding strategic sourcing methodologies
  • The candidates should be able to apply procurement leading practices and monitor sourcing performance progress
