Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Asset languages: Hindi, and Panjabi
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas, set tables, and carry and replace linen
- The candidates should be able to clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, and load bus pans and trays
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, place dishes in the storage area, and replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, portion and wrap foods, and serve customers at counters or buffet tables
- The candidates should be able to stock refrigerators and salad bars, clean and sanitize the kitchen including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash and sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors
