Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and demonstrate attention to detail
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have reliability, be team players, have the ability to multitask, and maintain a positive attitude
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to bring clean dishes, flatware, and other items to serving areas and set tables, clean and sanitize items such as dishwasher mats, carts, and waste disposal units, and clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs
- The candidates should be able to operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, place dishes in storage areas, and sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand
- The candidates should be able to keep records of the quantities of food used, package take-out food, and portion and wrap foods
- The candidates should be able to prepare, heat, and finish simple food items, clean and sanitize kitchens including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment, and receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
- The candidates should be able to remove kitchen garbage and trash, sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, and wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
