Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education:Â Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to establish methods to meet work schedules, requisition food and kitchen supplies, and supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- The candidates should be able to train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and hire food service staff
- The candidates should be able to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, prepare budget and cost estimates, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
- The candidates should be able to maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage, prepare and submit reports, and prepare food order summaries for chef
- The candidates should have knowledge of the establishment’s culinary genres, supervise and check assembly of trays, and supervise and check delivery of food trolleys
- The candidates should be able to establish work schedules
