Shift: Rotating (Overtime, weekends, holidays, and on-call)
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED; an Associate degree in a science or technical field is preferred
Experience: Candidates should have have 4+ years of lab experience in oils & fats, food processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, or related industry
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate being a self-starter with good interpersonal skills and work independently, sometimes without supervision
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret various directives provided in written or oral format, complete routine reports and correspondence, and contribute to Root Cause Failure analysis reviews
- The candidates should be able to efficiently define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions, apply mathematical concepts to practical situations, and have experience with an ERP system such as SAP
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to perform sampling and routine testing of solid and liquid materials, ensuring process and quality control measures are effective, and verify test results conform to specifications
- The candidates should follow all policies and procedures to ensure work exceeds “Good Laboratory Practices” requirements, maintain lab safety regulations, and perform set up, adjustments, and operation of lab equipment
- The candidates should maintain inventory of lab chemicals, update critical logs, troubleshoot lab instrumentation issues, and apply knowledge of different oils regarding product formulations and adjustments
