Salary: $18.00 to $24.00 hourly (to be negotiated) 8 to 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Part-time
Location: Abbotsford, BC & Lindell Beach, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, To be determined, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Public transportation is not available, Valid driver’s licence, Own transportation

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Automated systems experience: Egg-gathering system
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm truck
Type of crops: Blueberries

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be physically demanding
• The candidates should be able to do fruit and vegetable combination farming, and chicken farming
• The candidates should be able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
• The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)
• The candidates should be able to work in outdoors, and hot area

Other Requirements:

• The candidate should be reliable
• The candidates should have values and ethics, and be able to work as a team player

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to harvest crops
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to clean work area
