Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Farm Truck, Fruit Harvester, Loader, Tractor And Tillage Equipment

• The candidates should be able to work independently, adapt to a fast-paced environment, and perform repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to work under pressure, handle heavy loads, and meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be able to perform physically demanding tasks, maintain hand-eye coordination, and distinguish between colours
• The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail, stand for extended periods, and perform tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling
• The candidates should be able to perform sound discrimination tasks, perform tasks involving sitting, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to apply the technique of hoeing between the rows, clean the crops, and clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas
• The candidates should be able to cut agricultural crops, divide fresh harvested produce into marketable lots and non-marketable lots, and grade vegetables and fruits into different grades according to the size, shape, colour, and volume to fetch high prices in the market
• The candidates should be able to guide growing shoots into optimal development positions, hand harvest vegetables, and pack fruits and vegetables
• The candidates should be able to pick row and orchard crops, plant, cultivate, and irrigate crops, and sort fruits and vegetables
• The candidates should be able to tie and secure plants, train trees to produce more fruit of higher quality, and perform weeding
• The candidates should be able to clean work areas, harvest crops, and operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
• The candidates should be able to cut horticultural crops

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
