Shifts: Day, Morning
Transportation information: Own transportation, Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Manufacture, Urban area
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years’
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Safety glasses/goggles
Credentials: Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate, Driver’s License
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding, and a repetitive tasker
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to handle weight Up to 45 kg (100 lbs)
- The candidates should be able to handle Hand-eye co-ordination
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, and large workload
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy area, and dusty area
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be adaptable, efficient, quick learner, hardworking, dependable, and reliable
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication, positive attitude, integrity, and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to check and weigh materials and products, wrap goods, weigh materials and goods
- The candidates should be able to perform other labouring and elemental activities, transport and distribute materials and goods, store cargo and materials, remove litter and garbage
- The candidates should be able to operate a variety of equipment to load, unload and move materials and products, cut grass
- The candidates should be able to clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
- The candidates should be able to load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment
- The candidates should be able to build pallets, pack and unpack goods, ship orders
- The candidates should be able to organize and maintain inventory, sort, crate and stack goods
