The facility features a beautifully maintained 18-hole championship golf course with scenic views and challenging holes that appeal to both casual and seasoned golfers. In addition to its golf course, Glendenning Golf boasts excellent practice facilities, including a driving range and putting greens, allowing players to hone their skills. The club also offers golf lessons and clinics led by experienced professionals. The candidates selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.

Transportation information: Own transportation, and Drive manual transmission vehicle
Work setting: Work in employer’s/client’s home, Golf course, Urban area, Landscape contractor, Remote location, Various locations, Landscape maintenance, and Private residence

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw, Front end loader, Pick-up truck, Roto-tiller, Small engine equipment, Sod cutter, Tractor, Tractor mower, Weed trimmer/edger
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, Gloves, and Cellular phone

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and in wet or damp conditions.
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and tolerate various odors associated with the work
• The candidates should be able to work in dusty conditions and hot environments
• The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks and handling heavy loads as well as physically demanding tasks
• The candidates should possess manual dexterity and attention to detail, along with good hand-eye coordination and the ability to distinguish between colors
• The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, including bending, crouching, and kneeling as required

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions and tie and secure plants
• The candidates should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, as well as cut grass
• The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials
• The candidates should be able to lay sod or seed and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, as well as apply fertilizers
• The candidates should be able to repair and maintain equipment and write daily basic progress reports
• The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
• The candidates should be able to handle tree removal
