Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 44 to 72 hours per week
Employment Type: Seasonal employment Full time
Location: Calgary, AB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence
Work setting: Various locations, landscape maintenance, park and recreation sites, and commercial
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Security and safety: Driver’s validity license check and driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, in wet or damp conditions, and in dusty conditions
- The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments and in hot environments
- The candidates should be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, able to work under pressure, and capable of meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks, able to handle heavy loads, and perform physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should possess manual dexterity, have attention to detail, and demonstrate hand-eye coordination
- The candidates should be comfortable with extensive walking and able to bend, crouch, and kneel as required
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate dependability, possess efficient interpersonal skills, and exhibit flexibility
- The candidates should be organized, prioritize reliability, and be team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, and cut grass
- The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, and cart and spread topsoil and other materials
- The candidates should be able to lay sod or seed, plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
