La Ferme des Quatre-Temps Inc. is a farm and social enterprise which is dedicated to promoting sustainable agriculture and providing job training opportunities for people facing barriers to employment. Our farm produces a variety of fresh vegetables, fruits, and herbs using sustainable farming methods, such as crop rotation and natural fertilizers. Our farm’s commitment to social and environmental sustainability has earned us a loyal following in the Montreal community and beyond. The candidates who will get selected for the vacancy will be required to start the work as soon as possible.
Job Description:

Salary: $15.25 hourly 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract, Full time
Location: Montréal, QC
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work in beef cattle ranching and farming, including feedlots, and in hog and pig farming
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorized (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to do handling animals
- The candidates should be able to harvest crops, feed and tend animals
- The candidates should be able to clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- The candidates should be able to detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock and poultry
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
