Salary: $20.25 hourly for 30 to 40 hours per week

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from surfaces of metal products, and immerse metal products in cleaning solutions
The candidates should be able to assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers, and sort metal sheets and parts, scrap metal, and other materials
The candidates should be able to grind or chip excess metal from metal products using hand tools, clean machines and immediate work areas, and transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually or using powered equipment
