Salary: $19.00 to $24.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 44 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Saint-Ignace-de-Stanbridge, QC
Shifts: Day, Night, Weekend, Shift, Overtime, 07:00 to 16:30
Work setting: Sawmill
Type of product: Lumber
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be prepared for repetitive tasks and capable of performing physically demanding tasks
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and weights up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
- The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be comfortable standing for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate reliability in consistently fulfilling their duties and commitments
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to feed conveyors, hoppers, saws, and drying machines, sort, pile, and transport wood products
- The candidates should be able to assist other processing workers and clean machines and immediate work areas
