Salary: $20.00 hourly for 40 hours per week

Shifts: Day
Transportation information: Willing to travel regularly
Work setting: Various locations and Landscape maintenance

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Area of specialization: Cleaning
Architectural specialization: Commercial
Equipment and machinery experience: Small engine equipment, Sprayer or duster and Weed trimmer/edger
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
• The candidates should be capable of handling wet and damp conditions
• The candidates should be able to work in noisy environments
• The candidates should be resilient to dusty surroundings
• The candidates should be adaptable to working in hot temperatures
• The candidates should be adept at handling heavy loads
• The candidates should be physically fit to meet the demands of the job
• The candidates should be capable of performing a combination of sitting, standing, and walking tasks
• The candidates should be comfortable with extended periods of walking
• The candidates should be flexible and able to perform tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions and weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
• The candidates should be able to cut grass, rake and collect refuse, and remove litter and garbage
• The candidates should be able to cart and spread topsoil and other materials, lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, repair and maintain equipment, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
• The candidates should be able to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
