Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, in confined spaces as required, and in dusty environments
- The candidates should be capable of thriving in a fast-paced work environment, working under tight deadlines, and performing repetitive tasks as part of their duties
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs), physically fit to meet the demands of the job, and willing to undertake physically demanding tasks as necessary
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be equipped with efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication, demonstrating flexibility in adapting to changing work requirements
- The candidates should exhibit reliability in completing assigned tasks accurately and on time, possessing strong team player qualities and collaborating effectively with colleagues
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, including tasks such as leveling earth to fine grade specifications and helping heavy equipment operators
- The candidates should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, cut grass, and water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
- The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse, remove litter and garbage, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, and lay sod or seed
- The candidates should be able to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees, operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment, remove rubble and other debris at construction sites, mix, pour, and spread materials, and clean and pile salvaged materials
