Salary: $20.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 265 Venus Rd, Kelowna, BC V1X 1H6, Canada
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Morning, 08:00 to 16:00
Transportation information: Travel expenses paid by employer
Work setting: Various locations

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and be able to tolerate odors, dusty conditions, and noisy environments
• The candidates should be prepared to work in hot temperatures
• The candidates should be accustomed to working in a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
• The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads as part of their responsibilities and prepared for physically demanding tasks requiring stamina and endurance
• The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking during their shifts, as well as tasks involving bending, crouching, and kneeling as needed

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication and demonstrate flexibility in adapting to changing work situations
• The candidates should be organized in managing tasks and responsibilities and exhibit reliability in fulfilling their duties and commitments
• The candidates should be team players, collaborating effectively with colleagues

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions, weed, prune, and trim trees and plants, cut grass, and rake and collect refuse
• The candidates should be able to remove litter and garbage, cart and spread topsoil and other materials, lay sod or seed, and plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
• The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers, dig cemetery graves, repair and maintain equipment, water, and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens, and operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
