Job Description:

Salary: $16.00 hourly for 35 to 45 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Beaubassin East, NB
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Early Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or French Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Equipment and machinery experience: Chain saw, small engine equipment, sod cutter, tractor mower, and weed trimmer/edger
Security and safety: Bondable
Truck or equipment experience:
Snowblower

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
  • The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads
  • The candidates should be able to handle physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should have strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should have excellent hand-eye coordination
  • The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to assist with landscape constructions
  • The candidates should be able to weed, prune, and trim trees and plants
  • The candidates should be able to cut grass
  • The candidates should be able to rake and collect refuse
  • The candidates should be able to remove litter and garbage
  • The candidates should be able to cart and spread topsoil and other materials
  • The candidates should be able to lay sod or seed
  • The candidates should be able to plant bulbs, flowers, shrubs, and trees
  • The candidates should be able to apply fertilizers
  • The candidates should be able to water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • The candidates should be able to operate and maintain landscape maintenance equipment
  • The candidates should be able to prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles, or other masonry units
