Salary: $23.50 to $27.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Burnaby, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Overtime, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Various locations and Supervision
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Area of specialization: Landscape construction
Type of heavy equipment operated: Paver
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions
- The candidates should have attention to detail and be capable of handling heavy loads
- The candidates should be physically capable of performing demanding tasks and have good manual dexterity
- The candidates should be comfortable with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to stand for extended periods
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed, with personal suitability for the role
- The candidates should have a focus on client satisfaction and efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should be organized team players
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
- The candidates should be able to plant and move trees
- The candidates should be able to remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
- The candidates should be able to dig ditches and trenches
- The candidates should be able to ensure adherence to safety regulations
- The candidates should be able to communicate with other workers to coordinate the preparation and completion of work assignments
