Salary: $25.00 to $30.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 30 to 50 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: 285017 Bluegrass Dr Rocky View, AB T1X 0P5
Shifts: Day, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and vehicle supplied by employer
Work setting: Residential construction and commercial
Supervision: 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization: Landscape construction and fences
Construction specialization: Retaining walls, and fieldstone paths
Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck, small engine equipment, sod cutter, tractor mower, skid steer
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety bootsÂ
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should be able to work effectively under pressure and be capable of meeting tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and be prepared for physically demanding tasks, demonstrating attention to detail
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate a strong client focus and possess excellent oral communication skills, while also being team players and exhibiting flexibility in their approach to tasks
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to schedule work efficiently and organize and direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns effectively
- The candidates should be able to plan and estimate labor and materials accurately, organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls proficiently, and plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work diligently
- The candidates should be able to read blueprints and drawings accurately, establish work schedules and procedures effectively, and requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- The candidates should be able to resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality proficiently, supervise crew members efficiently, and provide staff training as required
- The candidates should be able to plan and construct landscaped environments, including trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures, proficiently
