Salary: $30.00 to $40.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time – On the road job
Location: Vancouver, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Morning
Transportation information: Valid driver’s licence and vehicle supplied by employer
Supervision: 1 to 2 people
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Area of specialization: Design and landscape construction
Equipment and machinery experience: Pick-up truck
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable working outdoors
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be capable of handling heavy loads, be prepared for physically demanding tasks, and possess manual dexterity
- The candidates should have attention to detail, be adaptable to a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, and be able to stand for extended periods
- The candidates should be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize client focus and have excellent oral communication skills
- The candidates should show initiative, exercise good judgment, and be team players
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to direct the planting of trees, gardens, and lawns and resolve work problems by providing technical advice to increase the value and functionality of a property
- The candidates should be able to plan and direct grounds maintenance, plan and estimate labor and materials, and organize and direct the construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls
- The candidates should be able to plan, manage, and supervise landscape construction work, maintain work records and logs, and read blueprints and drawings
- The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies, resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
