Salary: $27.00 to $46.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 to 44 hours per week

Shifts: Day, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning
Transportation information: Valid Driver’s License and Vehicle Supplied by Employer
Supervision: 1 To 2 People, 3 To 4 People, and 5 To 10 People
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Area of specialization:Â Interior Landscaping, Lawn Care, Grounds Maintenance, and Landscape Construction
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Backhoe, Chain Saw, Forklift, Front End Loader, Pick-Up Truck, Small Engine Equipment, Sod Cutter, Tractor, and Tractor Mower
Own tools/equipment: Steel-Toed Safety Boots and Gloves
Credentials:Â Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification
Security and safety:Â Criminal Record Check and Driver’s Validity Licence Check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, perform physically demanding tasks, and demonstrate manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to pay attention to detail, distinguish between colours, and manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, kneel, and manage a large workload
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be client-focused, have excellent oral communication, and take initiative
- The candidates should exercise good judgment and be a team player
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan and direct grounds maintenance, organize and direct construction of decks and decorative or retaining walls, and plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, read blueprints and drawings, and repair and maintain equipment
- The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, resolve work problems, provide technical advice and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- The candidates should be able to supervise nursery and greenhouse workers and establish work schedules and procedures
