Salary: $27.00 to $46.00 hourly (to be negotiated) for 35 to 44 hours per week

Supervision: 1 to 2 people, 3-4 people, 5-10 people
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Registered Apprenticeship certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 5 years or more
Equipment and machinery experience:Â Backhoe, Chain saw, Forklift, Front end loader, Pick-up truck, Small engine equipment, Sod cutter, Tractor, Tractor mower
Area of specialization:Â Interior landscaping, Lawn care, Grounds maintenance, Landscape construction
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots, gloves
Credentials:Â Canadian Nursery Landscape Association (CNLA) certification
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driving record check (abstract)
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, be physically demanding
- The candidates should be able to work with attention to detail
- The candidates should be able to work under tight deadlines
- The candidates should be able to sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to distinguish between colours
- The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads and large workload
- The candidates should be able to do manual dexterity
- The candidates should be able to work in outdoors, in hot areas, in dangerous areas, and at heights
Other Requirements:
- The candidate should be client focus, initiative, and judgmental
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication and be able to work as a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to plan and direct grounds maintenance, organize and direct planting of trees, gardens and lawns
- The candidates should be able to organize and direct construction of fences, decks and walls, plan, manage and supervise landscape construction work
- The candidates should be able to maintain work records and logs, read blueprints and drawings
- The candidates should be able to establish work schedules and procedures, repair and maintain equipment
- The candidates should be able to requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies, resolve work related problems
- The candidates should be able to supervise nursery and greenhouse workers
