Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have Graduation from high school or equivalent
Experience: Candidates should have considerable experience in the relevant field

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be capable of regularly lifting or moving bags of laundry or carts weighing up to 20 lbs
  • The candidates should also be able to occasionally lift or move soiled or wet linens that may weigh up to 40 lbs
  • The candidates should be comfortable with body movements and neck postures such as bending, stretching, turning, pushing, and pulling of laundry carts, as well as constant standing and walking
  • The candidates should maintain alertness and concentration while frequently completing repetitive tasks, requiring constant auditory and visual concentration

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should possess knowledge in the treatment of materials and have experience in the operation of laundry equipment
  • The candidates should have a satisfactory record of work performance

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to operate a variety of commercial laundry equipment
  • The candidates should be able to collect, sort, wash, fold, press, and distribute laundry and linens
  • The candidates should be able to deliver clean linens to appropriate hospital areas
  • The candidates should be able to maintain cleanliness in the Laundry
  • The candidates should be able to perform other related duties as required
