Salary: $28.00 to $32.00 hourly (To be negotiated) for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Shifts: Day, To be determined, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to meet tight deadlines and handle a large caseload
  • The candidates should be able to maintain attention to detail

Other Requirements:

  • The candidate should be accurate, communicate excellently both orally and in writing, and be organized

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings or conferences and determine and establish office procedures and routines
  • The candidates should be able to arrange travel, related itineraries and make reservations and prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents
  • The candidates should be able to review and proofread documents and correspondence to ensure compliance with legal procedures and grammatical usage and perform basic bookkeeping tasks

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
