Salary: $32.84 to $41.35 hourly (To be negotiated) for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Kamloops, BC
Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible Hours, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as college, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Area of specialization: Geriatrics
Credentials: Eligible for licensure as a practical nurse by the province/territory of work
Security and safety: Criminal Record Check, Immunization Records, And Tuberculosis Test

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to administer medications and apply aseptic techniques including sterile dressing and conduct specimen collection
• The candidates should be able to ensure infection control and monitor nutritional intake and take vital signs
• The candidates should be able to monitor patients’ progress, evaluate effectiveness of nursing interventions and consult with appropriate members of healthcare team
