Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualifications
Experience: Candidates should have previous experience in a customer service role
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be physically able to stand and turn, lift up to 30 pounds, and assist adults and children on and off chairlifts and assist guests with loading equipment (bikes)
- The candidates should be team-oriented and able to work cooperatively and effectively with diverse personalities
- The candidates should have a passion and enthusiasm for mountain culture and the resort environment
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should have previous experience in an outdoor role
- The candidates should have a mechanical aptitude or familiarity with chairlifts or similar equipment
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist guests in getting on lifts through friendly guidance and instruction
- The candidates should be able to assist with ticket validation and line management, directing guests appropriately, and assisting with loading bikes and equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform inspection and documentation of pre-operational and operational checks
- The candidates should be able to ensure signs, ropes, gates, and pylons are in place and maintained for guest and staff safety
- The candidates should be able to safely understand and execute all emergency procedures and safe or standard operating procedures
- The candidates should be able to comply with all safety regulations of assigned tasks and ensure a clean and safe working environment with active participation in the health and safety program
- The candidates should be able to provide an orderly and pleasant environment for guests by “Owning Your Zone” and undertaking general outdoor housekeeping duties
- The candidates should be able to demonstrate a commitment to exceeding guests’ expectations on a daily basis through their work extended, flexible shifts, including weekends, nights, and in extreme weather conditions on the resort
- The candidates should be able to direct traffic and provide assistance to guests during special events, conditions, and building locations
- The candidates should be able to act as a “Resort Ambassador” to guests by being familiar with various resort products and services
