Work setting: Rural area, Various locations, Relocation costs not covered by employer, and Hotel, motel, resort

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Security and safety: Reference required

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be capable of working under pressure
  • The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and heavy loads, and the job may involve physically demanding tasks
  • The candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and be capable of bending, crouching, and kneeling
  • The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods and be comfortable walking
  • Weight handling of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) may be required for this role

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a focus on clients and be dependable
  • The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills and demonstrate flexibility
  • The candidates should show initiative and exhibit reliability
  • The candidates should be team players and uphold values and ethics

Candidate Status:

  • Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
  • Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
  • If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors, dust furniture, and vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
  • The candidates should be able to make beds, change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, and stock linen closet
  • The candidates should be able to clean, disinfect, and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, disinfect operating rooms and other areas, and clean and disinfect elevators
  • The candidates should be able to handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items, and provide basic information on facilities
  • The candidates should be able to pick up debris, empty trash containers, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • The candidates should be able to wash windows, walls, and ceilings, clean changing rooms and showers, and address customers’ complaints or concerns
