Job Description:

Salary: $18.00 hourly for 35 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Invermere, BC
Shifts: Day

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be comfortable performing repetitive tasks, able to stand for extended periods, and have strong attention to detail
  • The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage physically demanding work, and handle heavy loads, including lifting up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work under pressure, demonstrate flexibility, and be reliable team players

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should have food safety/handling skills and be able to transport raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials
  • The candidates should be able to measure and dump ingredients into hoppers of mixing and grinding machines and remove filled containers from conveyors
  • The candidates should manually pack goods into bags and boxes or other containers, check products and packaging for basic quality defects, and clean machines and immediate work areas
