Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years 
Credentials: First Aid Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Cuisine specialties: Vegetarian
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to bend, crouch, and kneel
• The candidates should be able to manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
• The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads
• The candidates should be able to lift between 81 and 100 kg (177-220 lbs)

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to care for pets, administer bedside and personal care, and assist clients in water (e.g., pool)
• The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assist in regular exercise (e.g., walk), and change non-sterile dressings
• The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• The candidates should be able to plan therapeutic diets and menus, provide companionship, and provide personal care
• The candidates should be able to shop for food and household supplies, prepare and serve nutritious meals, and cook

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
