Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Credentials: Geriatric Certificate, Mental health first aid Certificate, CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should prioritize punctuality, demonstrate initiative, and exhibit patience
- The candidates should prioritize client focus, be organized, and demonstrate honesty
- The candidates should be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, assist in regular exercise such as walking, and feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care, shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
