Salary: $29.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: Mississauga, ON
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 7 months to less than 1 year
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling
- The candidates should be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- The candidates should be able to perform repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, have a strong client focus, and have efficient interpersonal skills
- The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, good judgement, and be organized
- The candidates should have patience
Candidate Status:
- Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
- International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer bedside and personal care
- The candidates should be able to administer medications
- The candidates should be able to assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
- The candidates should be able to assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to mend clothing and linens
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship
- The candidates should be able to provide personal care
- The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals
