Salary: $355.00 to $455.00 daily (To be negotiated) for 72 to 120 hours bi-weekly
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time

Target audience: Adolescents, Over 12 Years, Persons with an Intellectual Disability, School Age (6 – 12 Years) and Young Adults
Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as other Trades Certificate or Diploma, Human Services, General and Social Work, Other
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 2 years
Credentials:Â CPR Certificate, First Aid Certificate and Personal Support Worker Certificate
Security and safety:Â Criminal Record Check and Reference Required
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be able to handle bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- The candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage repetitive tasks, and walk for extended periods
- The candidates should be able to work under pressure
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be punctual, focus on clients, and be dependable
- The candidates should have efficient interpersonal skills, communicate orally with excellence, and be flexible
- The candidates should show initiative, demonstrate good judgment, and be organized
- The candidates should be reliable, work effectively as a team player, and be patient
- The candidates should be honest
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to administer medications, assist clients in water (i.e. pool), and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
- The candidates should be able to launder clothing and household linens, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and plan therapeutic diets and menus
- The candidates should be able to provide companionship, shop for food and household supplies, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
- The candidates should be able to take children to and from school and to appointments, co-ordinate recreation activities, and provide suicide and crisis intervention
- The candidates should be able to participate in staff meetings
