Salary: $20.00 hourly for 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent employment Full time
Location: North York, ON
Shifts: Evening, Flexible Hours, Morning
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment, Work in employer’s/client’s home, and Employer’s home

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Security and safety: Criminal record check

Other Requirements:

The candidates should demonstrate punctuality, be client-focused, and be dependable
The candidates should have excellent oral communication skills, be flexible, and show initiative
The candidates should be able to exercise sound judgement, be organized, and be reliable
The candidates should have patience, demonstrate honesty, and maintain professionalism in all tasks

Responsibilities:

The candidates should be able to administer medications, assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
The candidates should be able to feed or assist in feeding, launder clothing and household linens, and perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
The candidates should be able to provide companionship, provide personal care, and prepare and serve nutritious meals

Candidate Status:

Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
