Work setting: Employer’s home, Room and board provided, and Willing to relocate
Target audience: Supervise and care for multi-aged group of children, Children
Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Experience with special needs children: Autistic children
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Criminal record check, Driver’s validity licence check, and Vulnerable sector check
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should be non-smokers
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
- The candidates should be able to travel with the family on trips, assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, and wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens
- The candidates should be able to bathe, dress, and feed infants and children, instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
- The candidates should be able to organize activities such as games and outings for children, prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and appointments, tend to the emotional well-being of children, and help children with homework
