Salary: $17.40 hourly for 32 to 40 hours per week
Employment Type: Term or contract (ending: 2025-08-31) Full time

Transportation information: Public transportation is available

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English or Filipino Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as Other trades certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience although having experience is an asset
Cuisine specialties: Filipino cuisine
Credentials: Emergency child care first aid and CPR
Security and safety: Criminal record check and Vulnerable sector check

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be prepared for physically demanding work
• The candidates should be capable of performing repetitive tasks
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be organized, reliability, patience, and honesty

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
• If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and travel with the family on trips to assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• The candidates should be able to wash, iron, and press clothing and household linens, discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents, and instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• The candidates should be able to maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, organize activities such as games and outings for children, and prepare and serve nutritious meals
• The candidates should be able to supervise and care for children, take children to and from school and to appointments, and tend to the emotional well-being of children.
• The candidates should be able to help children with homework
