Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Equipment and machinery experience: Milking system (automated), Tractor, Farm truck, and Forklift
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have the ability to work independently, handle physically demanding tasks, and handle heavy loads
- The candidates should be able to manage a large workload, and walk frequently
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be organized, reliable and a quick learner
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to disinfect pens, barns or poultry houses, handle animals, and mark livestock as proof of ownership
- The candidates should be able to monitor animal health, perform animal grooming activities, and perform livestock feeding
- The candidates should be able to prepare a clean, dry area for cows that are calving, supervise milking operations to ensure work is done correctly, and treat livestock health issues
- The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals, operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment, and clean stables, barns, barnyards and pens
- The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties
