Job Description:

Shifts: Day, Evening, Weekend, Early Morning, Morning

Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates don’t need standard educational qualification such as degree, certificate or diploma
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to work independently, under pressure, manage physically demanding tasks, perform repetitive tasks, and maintain attention to detail
  • The candidates should be able to handle heavy loads, manage a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, demonstrate hand-eye coordination, stand for extended periods, walk as needed, and bend, crouch, and kneel

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to stay organized, work as a team player, show flexibility, and demonstrate reliability

Candidate Status:

  • Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary foreign workers of Canada are eligible for this position
  • International Candidates who don’t have a valid Canadian work permit also can apply

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to clear and collect brush and debris from fields, pens, and other work areas, clear fields of wood and stones, and diagnose livestock health issues
  • The candidates should be able to disinfect pens, barns, or poultry houses, handle animals, and mark livestock as proof of ownership
  • The candidates should be able to monitor animal health, organize tasks to accomplish the work, and perform animal grooming activities
  • The candidates should be able to perform livestock feeding, shear the sheep, and treat livestock health issues
  • The candidates should be able to feed and tend animals, clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens, and detect disease and health problems in crops, livestock, and poultry
  • The candidates should be able to perform general farm duties and set and monitor water lines, air flow, and temperature in barns, pens, and chicken coops
