Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates should have completion of Grade 12
Experience: Candidates should have rail experience

Physical Requirements:

  • The candidates should be able to multitask and have strong attention to detail and work at heights
  • The candidates should be able to work shift work and work outside in various climates

Other Requirements:

  • The candidates should have a GED strong mechanical aptitude and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The candidates should have basic knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities:

  • The candidates should be able to maintain knowledge of all departmental safety standards, policies, and procedures
  • The candidates should be able to promote, encourage, and enforce safety compliance by all Bunge personnel and contractor personnel working in the department
  • The candidates should be able to load meal, pellet, and oil into trucks and rail cars on a daily basis and seed supply to prep and move rail cars using the Trackmobile
  • The candidates should be able to execute the required documentation and write safe work permits
  • The candidates should be able to check inventory levels on a daily basis and maintain good inter-department communications
  • The candidates should be able to perform fire checks as per the schedule and complete measurements for month-end inventory
  • The candidates should be able to perform steam tracing in spring and fall and ensure that all equipment is kept clean and in good working order
  • The candidates should be able to perform daily inspections of the Trackmobile and assist other departments
