Requirements:
Languages:Â Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Security and safety: Basic security clearance
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should have strong attention to detail, be able to manage a large workload, and be capable of handling repetitive tasks
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should demonstrate flexibility, be organized, and be reliable. They should also be a team player
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to address customers’ complaints or concerns, load and unload goods, and oversee the condition of the vehicle including inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
- The candidates should be able to perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle, while receiving and relaying information to central dispatch
- The candidates should be able to record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and tarp to ensure the safety and security of cargo
- The candidates should be able to transport and handle dangerous goods
