Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates don’t need experience, training will be provided
Credentials: Provincial or territorial licence

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should have a client focus, exhibit efficient interpersonal skills, have excellent oral communication skills, and possess excellent written communication skills
• The candidates should be organized, reliable, and work well as a team player

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assess potential institutional, business or individual client markets, calculate premiums, establish client insurance coverage, and establish method of payment
• The candidates should be able to identify potential markets, ensure appropriate forms, medical examinations and other policy requirements are completed, and monitor insurance claims and respond to clients’ enquiries
• The candidates should be able to provide customer service and provide information concerning group and individual insurance packages, the range of risk coverage, benefits paid and other policy features
• The candidates should be able to sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft and other types of insurance

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
