Requirements:

Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 1 to less than 7 months
Credentials: CPR Certificate and First Aid Certificate
Security and safety: Bondable, Driver’s validity licence check, Driving record check (abstract), and Reference required

Physical Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to handle repetitive tasks and pay attention to detail
• The candidates should be able to lift up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs)

Other Requirements:

• The candidates should be able to focus on clients, be organized, and be reliable
• The candidates should be able to manage time effectively, be patient, and be honest

Candidate Status:

• Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
• Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada

Responsibilities:

• The candidates should be able to assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties, and shop for food and household supplies
• The candidates should be able to travel with family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties, bathe, dress and feed infants and children, and discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• The candidates should be able to keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children, maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, and organize activities such as games and outings for children
• The candidates should be able to prepare and serve nutritious meals, supervise and care for children, and take children to and from school and to appointments
• The candidates should be able to help children with homework and cook
