Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English Language
Education: Candidates need standard educational qualifications such as a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Candidates should have experience of 2 to less than 3 years
Equipment and machinery experience: Automatic lathes, Drill presses, Milling machines, Tapping machines, and Use computer numerical control (CNC) machines
Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots
Credentials: Machinist Trade Certification
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive in a fast-paced environment and efficiently manage tasks under tight deadlines, and be adept at handling repetitive tasks with precision and consistency
- The candidates should be able to stand for extended periods as required by the job duties and demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in all aspects of their work
- The candidates should be capable of handling weights of up to 23 kg (50 lbs) as necessary for their duties

- The candidates should consistently deliver accurate results in their tasks and exhibit dependability, fulfilling their responsibilities reliably
- The candidates should possess efficient interpersonal skills for effective communication with colleagues and clients, demonstrate excellent oral communication skills, and showcase excellent written communication skills for various forms of correspondence
- The candidates should display flexibility in adapting to changing circumstances and tasks, show initiative in taking proactive steps to address challenges and pursue opportunities, and be cooperative team players, contributing to group success
Candidate Status:
- Candidate must be a Canadian Citizen or temporary or permanent resident of Canada
- Candidate must have legal authorization (Work Permit) to work in Canada
- If Candidates are unable to fulfill above mentioned requirements, don’t apply for the position
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts, and tables, set up and adjust production machineries/tools, and fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
- The candidates should be able to maintain, repair, and calibrate precision measuring instruments, document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances, and maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
- The candidates should be able to verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers), compute dimensions and tolerances, and measure and lay out workpieces
- The candidates should be able to set up and operate conventional and computer-controlled machine tools, and verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
