Requirements:
Languages: Candidates must have knowledge of the English and French Language
Education:Â Candidates should hold a College diploma (DCS) in Electronics Technology with a specialization in audiovisual, telecommunications and computing systems
Experience: Candidates should have five years of experience performing in the relevant field
Physical Requirements:
- The candidates should thrive under pressure and effectively guide teams when systems experience downtime
- The candidates should work well as a team player and contribute positively to collaborative efforts
- The candidates should have a strong understanding of digital audio or video production, Information Technology, and server management
- The candidates should be able to analyze faults effectively and make quick, independent decisions
Other Requirements:
- The candidates should be highly skilled in network computing and demonstrate expertise in troubleshooting electronic circuits, soldering electronic components, and wiring systems
- The candidates should have training skills to guide others in technical operations and possess very good proficiency in French (spoken and written)
- The candidates should have good knowledge of English to facilitate bilingual communication
- The candidates should have broad and varied knowledge of production methods, technical equipment, production crafts, and workflows
- The candidates should demonstrate judgment and initiative in resolving technical issues efficiently
Responsibilities:
- The candidates should be able to provide technical support for production and broadcast-server systems, including hardware and software, to ensure reliability and availability
- The candidates should be able to perform tasks related to maintaining production equipment and promptly inform the production team of any temporary system limitations
- The candidates should be able to troubleshoot technical issues in collaboration with vendors and maintenance technicians to resolve problems effectively
- The candidates should be able to actively participate in the implementation, modification, and reconfiguration of production and broadcast systems
- The candidates should be able to perform operating system updates on production and broadcast servers to maintain system functionality and security
